From 1b2d9aa478aba4d21189e5259e8e0eeec9003e6b Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: emirhanmamak-blueforce Date: Wed, 16 Sep 2026 17:16:23 +0300 Subject: [PATCH] chore(lfs): track the offline package set with Git LFS The reviewed .deb files ship inside the repository so the installing device downloads nothing, but a full Ubuntu dependency closure is roughly 900 MB of binaries. Committing them as ordinary blobs would put that weight into every clone of the project's history. Track *.deb through Git LFS instead: the working tree keeps the real files (the installer reads them from disk unchanged) while the history stores pointers. Contributors need `git lfs install` once. Note the GitHub storage and bandwidth quotas are not verified here -- a set this size is close to the free tier's storage allowance and every clone spends bandwidth. --- .gitattributes | 1 + 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+) create mode 100644 .gitattributes diff --git a/.gitattributes b/.gitattributes new file mode 100644 index 0000000..3a19b95 --- /dev/null +++ b/.gitattributes @@ -0,0 +1 @@ +*.deb filter=lfs diff=lfs merge=lfs -text
